For Colleen, Her Friends & Family:

Beautiful presence, beautiful voice, beautiful person.  I cannot say enough about Ms. Colleen.  She was one of the most vibrant people I have ever met in my entire life.  I had known Colleen for at least 17 years or so.  I met her through her cousin/sister, Bridgette.  Where there was one, the other followed.  I loved Colleen as one of my own cousins.  She was one of the most graceful, funny and vibrant individuals I have ever met in my life.  I will never forget the love she shared for friends, family and life.  A life that ended all too abrupt.  Now due to ignorance, a lot of people are going to miss out on that fabulous presence we have known to LOVE!  We all love you and will miss you until our time comes.  Sing us into those pearly gates Colleen!  All of my love and love from those who knew you.

WELL COLLEEN, IT HAS BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS SINCE YOU LEFT US TO FLY WITH THE ANGELS.  I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD THAT 'TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS', BUT I GUESS TIME IS NOT ON MY SIDE.  I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERY DAY, AND IT SEEMS AS EACH DAY PASSES, I MISS YOU MORE!  EVERYTIME SHELBY SINGS ONE OF YOUR SONGS, OR WHEN KENNY DOES SOMETHING FUNNY, I WANT TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL YOU.  IF ONLY THERE WAS A PHONE NUMBER FOR HEAVEN.
YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW BIG SHELBY & KENNY ARE NOW.  I WISH THAT YOU WOULD HAVE STUCK AROUND A LITTLE LONGER SO THAT MY CHILDREN WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW YOU AS I DID!

My dearest Boo,
 
I am writing this because I want to believe that you will see it. In some ways it seems you
have been gone forever and in other ways it feels like you were here yesterday.  Mackenzie
still asks where you are and keeps a picture of you in here room.  She is 5 now and I hate that
you are not here to play with her.  About 3 weeks after you left, I found out I was pregnant.
On Sept 2, 2003 I gave birth to a beautiful little girl, her name is Cadie Colleen.  There is so
much of you in her.  The way she laughs, sings and demands the attention of everyone in the
room.  I look at her sometimes and I swear I can see you in her eyes.  I miss you more everyday
and when I walk by our picture I think of some of the stupid things we did together.  I can't
help but laugh out loud.  Keep the angels laughing just like you did for me............................
